Chocolate Fountain Skillz

Today our office had an open house and without thinking I volunteered to bring a chocolate fountain...you know...the one I got on sale 10 months ago that has been sitting in storage!? Here's a word to the wise: try it out before using it to serve 75 people--you'll sleep better the night before! This inaugural use of the fount could either make or break the event.

I had heard too many horror stories of chocolate spurting everywhere from a fountain gone bad. (Amber do you know what I'm talkin' bout?) I didn't even know if my recipe would turn out to be lumpy or luscious! So, with 30 minutes to go, I prepared the melted chocolate in a microwave, poured it in, and flipped the switch! The whirring of the motor began and slowly the chocolate bubbled up over the top and down the sides. Success! Eventually the whole hall was filled with the wonderful aroma of cocoa (kinda like when you walk by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the mall).

So for anyone who knows me, no, I won't be making this into a business venture (even though money does talk). It will simply be my new party entertainment. So...who wants to have me over?
